I’m sorry that I don’t have screenshots available T^T I’m in the middle of getting Flash8 Flash CS4 for the computer I’m on right now…..but I’ll be sure to be as clear as possible.
First, you’ll need this SDK file.
To get Flash8 Flash CS4, just go here. When you install and it gives you a list of what programs you want, unless you know what each program does, I’d choose only Flash cause I accidentally chose everything and it took FOREVER to install T^T I tried putting this on my MF account, but I can’t put files that are more than 100MB…..if you’re planning to keep this for more than 30 days, use the keygen ^^
SIDENOTE: When you make a theme, make sure you save it as actionscript2.0 because the P3 doesn’t support anything higher than 2.0 or Flash8. If you can’t do that, then you can always create a new file as actionscript2.0.
After you get the SDK file and Flash8 Flash CS4, just open the file and you should see some weird theme already there……that’s what I was working on, sorry xDDD but basically, you replace the background images and icons with whatever you want.

The background must be in three parts. Each part must be 480×272. What I do is make a new file in Photoshop (I use Gimp, but whatever XD) and make the size 480×816. Make the image I want, then I take the rectangular selecting tool and select exactly 480×272 starting from the left. Every time I select an area, I copy and paste onto a new file (with dimensions as 480×272) and I keep doing that with the rest of them. Pay really close attention though when you’re selecting. It can’t be off by a single pixel >o<
Now when you copy and paste and make a new file, make sure you name it “background1.1″ and the next one “background1.2″ and the last one “background1.3″. This way, it’s in order when you’re making your theme.
The reason I do it this way is because you’re going to make one big image and end up cutting it up anyways. Making the individual background parts and trying to make sure it matches with the other parts can be really annoying and tedious. So yeah.

You can make your icons whatever way you want, just make sure the size is 60×60. No more, no less. When you name them, make sure you name them:
“address1″, “alarm1″, “bluetooth1″, “calculator1″, “datacast1″, “dict1″, “files1″, “flash1″, “games1″, “music1″, “pictures1″, “radio1″, “recoder1″, “settings1″, “sketch1″, “subway1″, “text1″, and “videos1″.
If you don’t know what some of these are, don’t worry, you’ll see when you open the file.
God, screenshots would make this so much easier =___= well I only have the backgrounds of the previous theme I made, so I guess I can put that up at least.
They look squished, but you can see the real size by clicking on them. You see where there are lines? That’s where I separated them. Hehe.
I’ll try to put up screenshots as soon as possible so that it’s easy to follow T^T
I’m so excited, I just ordered my P3 xDD I can’t wait to see it in all its glory XDD
